About Dr. Keith Miller

Dr. Keith Miller, president emeritus of Lock Haven University in Virginia, started his career as an assistant professor of the management and marketing department at the Teaneck Campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1987. Since then, he has held prestigious positions in various universities across the country. Dr. Keith Miller’s most recently served as the president of Virginia State University.

Dr. Miller received his bachelor’s degree in education at the University of Arizona. After graduating, he proceeded with his studies and earned both his master’s in public administration and doctorate in education.

In the span of his career, Dr. Miller has also held positions as the interim campus chairperson and MBA program director at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He managed university departments as the associate dean of the school of business at Quinnipiac College and as the dean of the college of business administration at Niagara University. He has also previously served as the provost and vice chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
